Helen Stokes Lampard and the like should not take sides in this debate. Many of my patients voted to leave because, for example, they could not get housing to live in or appointments to see the GP because they were taken up by Eastern Europeans. Their democratic decision to leave is what is being overturned by the 'establishment'. Yes, GP`s should of course engage in politics and be free to state their own personal opinions, but they should not make political declarations on behalf of other Doctors.
