If the assisted dying bill passes, GPs will be left on a slippery slope


Given where things were with this, say 20 yrs ago, i.e. no one would countenence this becoming law; to where we are now i.e. being debated in the Lords, I consider it inevitable that one day, assisted suicide will be legal. Slowly and gradually, only the hard liners will be left as the opponents. Just look at how women in the clergy and same sex marriage is has become de rigeur.
