At the heart of general practice since 1960

So we have had it too good have we?

I read with astonishment that the GPC has decided to go with the Carr-Hill formula after all on the basis that it calculates only seven practices in Scotland will lose out financially (March 31).

Surely this is seven too many for an area that is known to be favoured by the formula. What of Middle England?

Presumably 30 per cent or so of English practices will lose out but this is acceptable to the GPC on the basis that we have had it too good and too easy for too long.

It seems the GPC has caught up with us at last.
