Speedy solution for nose-bleeds

When my daughter had her umpteenth nose-bleed while rushing to get ready for school I suggested in exasperation: 'Use a clothes peg!' I was taught in A&E to squeeze the nose for 10 minutes but this was not an option.

The peg was painful and soon fell off. So, we tried swimmers' nose-clips. They were perfect. Pressure could be maintained even while showering. The result: nose-bleed arrested; child ready for school. And it was so much cheaper than an SHO with yards of packing.
