The NAPC Annual Conference 2010 and Vision Awards
20 - 21 October 2010 | Hilton Birmingham Metropole
12 CPD HOURS
The NHS is about to be tested like never before under the new coalition Government and changes are afoot that will affect you and your practice.
The arrival of the white paper has triggered some pressing questions for GPs…
- How can the NHS cope with the tsunami of needs predicted?
- How do you prepare for real budgets?
- How do you form a successful federation?
- How do you make wider use of Patient Reported Outcomes Measures?
The NAPC conference aims to tackle these issues plus many more that have risen out of the changes taking place in the NHS.
Managing commissioning, developing integrated care, building a motivated and cost-effective team are just some of the challenges you may face as you steer your practice through the lean years ahead.
This year’s event will include a line up of highly reputable speakers such as:
- Andrew Lansley, health secretary
- Sir David Nicholson, chief executive, NHS
- Mark Britnell, head of healthcare Europe and UK, KPMG
- Stephen Dorrell, former health secretary and chair of the health select committee
- Professor Nancy Devlin, one of the country’s greatest experts on PROMs
Come to this event for up-to-the minute insight and practical tips on:
- Making a success of the coalition Government’s new commissioning agenda
- Running a profitable and efficient practice
- Tackling the bigger challenges facing the NHS and primary care
The NAPC Annual Conference 2010 will also host the “Vision Awards” which will be held on the first evening of the conference, celebrating excellence in primary care and general practice. Last year the awards attracted more than 100 entries, and we expect this year’s awards to be bigger and better with an extended number of categories. Entry has now closed for the awards, the shortlist will be announced on 8 September.
