Stupidity over depression

From Dr Paul Searle, Eaton Socon

Your investigation into depression services is yet further proof of the chaos the Government is causing, listening to academic idiots who produce guidelines that cannot be achieved by GPs in the real world (News, 2 March).

The term NICE reminds me of 'the Institute of Propaganda and Enlightenment' that was run by the German MP and academic Joseph Goebbels 'the good doctor' in the 1930s and 1940s. Germany has learnt its lesson but British MPs seem as stupid as ever, like their academic advisers.
