The idea of renegotiation is pure fantasy

I'm staggered the GPC is suggesting the contract could be rewritten in five years surely an admission that the one being offered now is not good enough. I agree, and it must be rejected.

Why can we not have a contract now that is fit for the next 10 years? The current one is not fit for 10 days! It took 13 years to rewrite the 1990 contract and that only happened because GP recruitment and retention is becoming so poor that the Government allowed the contract to be rewritten.

Any idea that the Government will allow renegotiation in five years is pure fantasy!
