Traditional practice better for salaried GPs

I personally would prefer to remain a salaried GP.

That's because I think there is more likely to be continuity of care with patients, better development of understanding with partners and still a remote chance of a partnership within the practice if a vacancy arose.

I'd also have thought that if I worked for a private firm, I would be more likely to do odd hours and receive less income.
