CSA practice case: Calf pain
As part of Pulse’s new GP trainee section, we have created a new series of CSA practice cases that trainees can download to prepare for the MRCGP exam
This case refers to a 29-year-old man who fractured his R 4th MT 10 weeks ago in bobsleigh training.
He was put on blood thinning injections initially and later changed into an aircast boot. He now thinks the MT fracture has not healed properly and would like to be referred back to a fracture clinic for an X-ray.
The practice case can be downloaded here.
This practice case is taken from the book CSA Practice Cases for the MRCGP, by Prashini Naidoo and Sonali Bapat, published by Scion Publishing Limited 2016.
