Tricyclics and SSRIs compared

I read with interest the article on the front page regarding the GMC's change of slogan (June 11). I thought this was particularly well timed considering the correspondence on the letters pages about complaints.

Perhaps the GMC should think of a new snappy axiom such as 'Pandering to Politicians, Persecuting Doctors'. After all, this seems to sum up their raison d'etre in a nutshell.

(Husband of GP salaried partner who is much too busy ticking the correct boxes to be able to cope with her own correspondence.)
