'Vexatious complaint is final straw'

Dr Gerri McKeever has threatened to resign from the NHS over what she believes is a rise in vexatious complaints.

Dr McKeever, a GP in Rochester, Kent, faces an independent review panel hearing this week after she reprimanded a patient for calling her practice nurse a 'bitch'.

'I've had it with the NHS,' she said.
