Virgin shyness speaks volumes

Virgin withdrawing its plans to enter primary care is evidence that all private ventures are in it for the money, not patient care.

The Government still seems to be blind to this when it talks about more competition from the private sector. This is a wake-up call.

It seems like a sensible move for Virgin to withdraw its plans if it has lost the person driving this forward. As a commissioner I would rather it pulled out than ploughed on and ended up in a mess.
