What are the financial implications of a partner taking 24 hour retirement?

A partner is taking 24 hour retirement shortly. My understanding is that his drawings will increase by both the employers and employees superannuation (the same amount as a fellow partner is paying) and that he will not be charged with superannuation contributions. It is also my understanding that his seniority will continue. Is this correct?
