When should you take a pension in a 24-hour retirement?

I would appreciate your advice on the following matter I am a single handed independent PMS doctor, aged 61. I will be 62 on 21st November. I wish to take my pension and recommence service 24 hours later. When is the right time to take my pension ? Is it soon after my birthday? Or would it be better to wait until the end of the financial year? My Tax year end is 30th June.
