Why clinical trials are powerful tool for GPs

Dr Tony Naczk illustrates the challenge the Government faces with getting practice-based commissioning off the ground. The GP from Whitby, North Yorkshire, said his practice was too busy to think about getting involved this year. He said he was 'gobsmacked' by proposals to incentivise it through the quality and outcomes framework. 'We had to do all the QOF points last year and we're all worked out,' he said.
