Why I think drug company reps may be taking the pee

I was fascinated to receive a mailing from an international pharmaceutical company today. The reply-paid card offers me various free publications on a urological theme, including a 'DRE training session'.

Under the list of options is the legend 'The best time for a representative to visit is...'.

I know reps are under increasing pressure to sell their products these days but surely this is too much to expect?
