'Your goldfish are too fat' GPs told

A patient at Dr Emma Bennett's surgery complained in a recent practice survey that 'the goldfish are too fat and set a poor example'. Dr Bennett, a GP and paediatric fellow in Dalkeith, Midlothian, said the three fish in the waiting room had 'become a bit of a standing joke' among the partners.

'The fish have now been booked in for a healthy living check with the practice nurse,' she joked.
