  • How much money has been wasted in the last twentyfive years in formulating and implementing the so called NHS reforms or deforms, is anyone's guess.
    I hope the common sense may prevail and politicians must accept that the NHS in its current form is not viable.
    Either throw in every penny of the tax payers money or let the customers contribute a little for services like home visits, payments for DNAs and 50 pence for each item of prescription and it should be for all.

  • It would not be equitable to apply additional payments for home visits or add 50p to each prescription item.
    potentially would need to start saving now for end of life care and medications. Some people who require home visit may be first time they have seena GP in many years other freuqent flyers could genuinely was public money.
