  • completely agree.QOF has been a completely misconceived disaster for..the consultation;gp professionalism;gp retention/morale/early retirements/illness;patient dr dependency;applying mindlessly a whole slew of non-evidence based and even perverse markers eg phq..especially the second one..must have been devised by someone with zero gp experience..a good example of over-simplification of complex consultations by someone external to our profession.

    end ALL QOF now!...put the (currently largely wasted) time and money into real patient care..now that would be a nice change!?..GPs should be professional enough to manage quality by robust peer clinical governance.
