Dr Chaand Nagpaul: CQC overregulation is suffocating general practice

Speaking at the LMCs Conference in London today, GPC chair Dr Chaand Nagpaul said the ‘punitive overregulation’ of the profession must be halted, while also calling on the Government to provide a national organisational fund to support GPs working at scale

  • fantastic, but nothing will change as a result. Instead of using so much time, energy and money to watch over and make all services so politically correct, why don't you use all that on actual services on the ground, which are far below world standards. Otherwise tell patients what to expect before they use the service, don't give them a false impression of the service they should expect. When you fly Timbuktu air you don't and cannot expect British Airways service.
