  • When questioning if someone potentially has depression alongside biopsychosocial assessment should run biochemical investigation. FT4, FT3, TSH, Serum B12, full iron panel, ferritin, folates, vit d, magnesium, iodine and if possible with clarification with the labs- zinc. No less than stated above. Micronutrients and hormones are vital in mental health
