Why Practice managers need a staff training strategy
Training: What’s new?
Although it has been an exceptionally challenging time for practices, during the Pandemic, it is absolutely crucial to provide safe and high-quality care and treatment.
With this in mind, the CQC did update its Mandatory Training mythbuster to include information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency.
So what innovative training programmes should practices’ access? Practice Managers should look at Health Education England (H.E.E.) website, which provide e-Learning for Healthcare training. The H.E.E has also produced a Coronavirus programme, which is freely available to colleagues working in the NHS, the independent sector and social care.
Elsewhere, The Resuscitation Council UK also created a series of useful resources to support healthcare professionals, and the general public during COVID-19. Finally, it has produced a brief infographic on the resuscitation of adult COVID-19 patients in primary care settings, which is included in our QCS Resuscitation Policy and Procedure.
