The conference will look at the government's plans to move towards a clinically led NHS - to increase fiscal efficiency and improve patient choice and experience - as well as how to effectively manage the shift towards caring for those with long term health problems in our increasingly ageing population. Further sessions will look at how care services can best prepare for the reforms proposed in the on-going Health and Social Care Bill as well as provide better services despite the looming spectre of £20 billion in health care funding cuts.
