One person who may come up with a solution to the complexities of general practice is Dr Joanne Reeve, chair of the Society for Academic Primary Care.

‘We need to help GPs reconnect with what matters to them,’ says Dr Reeve, who works one day a week in a Liverpool inner-city practice.

‘For many GPs that is about helping to reconnect with whole-person care, individually tailored care and expert generalist practice.’

Everyone thinks they have the answer to the general practice crisis but Dr Reeve is the one testing which answers actually work.
