Clinical picture of the week: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome

This award winning picture shows a 17-year old patient diagnosed with early-onset Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, an inherited connective tissue disorder - seen here on the knee with bruising and paper-thin skin.

This picture was a silver award winner in the 2009 Institute of Medical Illustrators awards and was taken by Jaclyn Swindell at Addenbrook's Hospital.
