Dr Sue Lipscombe: ‘Hopefully the Tories will move away from targets’

My perception is that Labour would continue to squeeze the workforce with impossible targets – perpetuating the bureaucracy, which in turn will hack away at the front line.

It seems the Tory party will move towards emphasising private health services as an option. I believe they will cut some of the bureaucrats. The rest of their policies are unclear but hopefully they will move away from targets.

The LibDems say they want to do more for social care but, I suspect, haven't a clue where the money and manpower will come from. Meanwhile the bankers who got us into this mess will keep their hefty pay and use private healthcare.
