  • Why do they have to reinvent the wheel?

    if they want to keep patients out of A and e why do they not just fund GP practices to employ more doctors ,and staff so we can open in the evenings and weekends to allow us to see pts and visit the elderly .The same overstretched existing practices cannot do longer days--we all are working 11 hr days as it is .Few of us have buildings that we can extend--we just need a second workforce to extend the hours--but not coming out of OUR pockets!
