I have requested list closure and waiting for decision. Reason: no money to employ a second f/t GP and a f/t nurse
    List size 4070
    Raw size 3590
    Global sum every month- 20,900

    - Catering to almost a 1000 East europeans most of whom are non- English speaking as they have access to Russiana and Polish speakers and the NHS saves tens of thousands on interpreter chanrges. (Medway Council interpreter service charges around £80 per interpreter). In this Practice they don't need interpreters.

    - With Practice borders being liquidated :
    - Practice in danger of being innundated by Eastern european patients from neighbouring Gravesend and Maidstone as many have tried to join the Practice in the last two years and been declined. There is a population of around 15-20000 o this ethnic minority in these two cities.

    - Rent not paid for meeting room and PMs office due to animosities and a long history of harrassment by NHS Trust officials -although PM's office is in full time use and houses Practice server; Unable to document that meeting room is used every single day. No other Practice in Medway has been asked to provde meeting room f/t occupancy to get rent as far as I am aware.
First valuation of property done only after 3 years of ownership !
Am I justified in list closure? I think so - for the safety of my patients and sanity of my staff and finally, for my own mental and physical health.
