Pulse writes to over 200 MPs regarding practices at risk of closure

Pulse has written to more than 200 MPs in the regions of the UK most affected by potential practice closures calling on them to support the Stop Practice Closures Campaign.

The letter aims to inform MPs about what potential closures in their region will mean for their constituents - GPs and patients alike.

Pulse is aiming to attract support from MPs of all parties across the UK, to raise the issue of practice closures in Parliament.

If you are affected by practice closures in your area, you can adapt our letter to send to your own MP.

  • Waste of time they hate us and would rather see primary care destroyed than see a doctor earn more than a pizza delivery boy

  • Thank you! It's nice to feel that someone is doing something as I really do not think the BMA are.

  • This is not a question of 'they know not what they do', but they [ the DOH] knows very well what they do.
So, let us stop wasting everyone's time and decide to resign from the NHS.
Come on GPC, do you really think the DOH is unaware of the consequences of it's actions?
They know precisely and it is better for us to jump in our calculated time, rather being pushed out piecemeal in the death of a thousand cuts.
Because we cling on and on to the very worst they throw at us, the DOH really care 2 figs about us or what we think. Time to come to the parting of the waves.

  • If we resign from the NHS then what happens to CCGs ?
