I read in Pulse that ‘GP leaders' accept the end of lone practices.

Speaking as a singlehanded GP of some years, I have no intention of ‘forming a network with like-minded colleagues'.

Just who are these people who claim to speak on my behalf yet haven't had the courtesy to ask my opinion?
