CCG advice pack, from 38 Degrees, including constitution writing guidance

The campaign group 38 Degrees has provided an information pack for CCGs, including calls to commissioners to consider ‘whether the use of approved lists is the most appropriate means of appointing providers’.

Their constitutions also compel them to take the ethical behaviour into account when appointing providers, saying all providers should be ‘good employers’, ‘respect the environment’ and not be involved in tax avoidance schemes.

The clauses have been developed by lawyers, including Rebecca Haynes of Monckton Cahmbers, working with the NHS pressure group 38 Degrees.
