A man will appear in crown court charged with stabbing a GP in the neck in an attack on Monday.
Malcolm Torrance is charged with wounding Dr David Winteler at Linkway Medical Practice in West Bromwich.
Mr Torrance, of Swan Avenue, Smethwick, will appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on 30 April, following a hearing at Sandwell Magistrates Court yesterday.
The practice said that Dr Winteler has been discharged from hospital.
