Dr Richard Vautrey: 'We hope for an outcome to help GP workload'
The GPC’s deputy chair speaks to Pulse about the current state of contract negotiations, the need for more resources in primary care and the state of public health in England.
Dr Richard Vautrey said the GPC wanted to conclude negotiations ‘as swiftly as possible’ and that a result could be unveiled within weeks. Dr Vautrey was speaking with Pulse reporter Sofia Lind.

Jeremy Hunt has said his planned reforms to the GP contract will result in a ‘really fundamental change to the role of GPs’. Is it all done and dusted then? I thought you are still negotiating!
