Drinking limits should be cut for over 65s, reports the Daily Mail and the the Independent.

Safe recommended drinking limits should be slashed for the over-65s to take into account the effects of ageing, according to a doctors' report urging more action to tackle alcohol and drug misuse among the elderly.

Meanwhile the Daily Telegraph reports that plans are underway to tackle ageism in the NHS.

Also, the Joe Public blog argues that private hospitals are no place for people with learning difficulties.
