Consultant nephrologists Dr Benjamin Bray and Dr Donal O'Donoghue continue our new series on the key issues GPs face when referring patients.

Learning objectives


This module will offer GP focused advice on referring patients with kidney disease:

  • Managing stable stage 3 Chronic kidney disease
  • Key interventions in diabetic nephropathy
  • Referring vasculitis
  • Referring unexplained renal failure after new medications
  • Managing patients with CKD who are extremely frail or have advanced dementia
