Pulse has launched an essential free mobile app for all GPs, with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and screening tools to help them with day-to-day consultations.

The Pulse Toolkit – which is now available to download on mobile and tablet devices – offers a range of tools for GPs to assist them with patient consultations, including advice on interpretation and treatment from the relevant guidelines.

Since it was launched, the Pulse Toolkit has scooped the prestigious Digital innovation of the Year gong at the Medical Journalists’ Association awards, beating off the likes of the BBC and the BMJ.

One of the judges at the awards, said: ‘It (Pulse Toolkit) has made a real and important impact with GPs, helping them in the most vital area of their work: the patient consultation.’

This easy-to-use mobile app is free to download, and includes a variety of clinical decision aids and scores, including:
