  • Just tried to admit patient with resp rate of 40 (COPD Exacerbation) and really struggling with breathing - NEWS2 score strictly 3 - had to fight to get urgent ambulance - during which time sats started to drop - there has to be acknowledgement of clinical expertise over "computer says no!"
