Jeremy Hunt doesn’t care about burnout

The health secretary and his media friends couldn’t care less how far they push us.

But the A&E crisis won’t go away while they keep ignoring it. Nor will changes to our contract solve the crisis – because we aren’t the cause of it. Hunt will move departments before it is solved, and the Daily Mail will continue to bang its war drum, saying GPs are incompetent and lazy.

Preying on people’s fears and anxieties may make money but aren’t there more honourable ways for politicians and newspaper publishers to become wealthy?
