  • I have been the last man standing since December 2017 with a 5 session salaried GP to support me mange a list size of 5,000+ in inner city Leeds. Welcome to my world of oncalls 4-5 days a week for above deprived population, 5-15 visit requests to triage daily alone, besides answering almost all queries from all quarters. Some patients are genuinely sympathetic, but most are just demanding more. CCG do not want to take the contract back and I don’t want my team to be redundant as we are good at what we do. We need to re-think primary health care provision in current climate and demand payments for the work done.
