The Nottingham eczema severity score provides an simple, objective assessment of the clinical severity of atopic eczema.
Based on duration, intensity and extent of the disease, the score grades cases into mild, moderate and severe based on a combination of clinical symptoms from the past 12 months and a single clinical examination.
