Described as a ‘fantastic role model' by one of our panel, the director of the Nuffield Trust is one of the foremost academic experts in UK health policy. Dr Dixon, who trained in paediatrics before embarking on a career in policy analysis, was one of the lead investigators of the Department of Health's telehealth pilot programme and an advocate for the move towards greater competition and choice in the health bill.
