Learning objectives

This module will advise on how to identify Addison's disease, including:

  • Identifying key signs and symptoms such as deepening skin pigmentation and low blood pressure
  • Excluding differential diagnoses including type 1 diabetes
  • Key questions to ask patients, such if they frequently drop their keys or struggle to climb stairs
  • Conducting first line investigations
  • When to refer
