- Identifying key signs and symptoms such as deepening skin pigmentation and low blood pressure
- Excluding differential diagnoses including type 1 diabetes
- Key questions to ask patients, such if they frequently drop their keys or struggle to climb stairs
- Conducting first line investigations
- When to refer
