Improving patient access award

NHS Connecting for Health runs out clear winner here, after apparently getting confused over whether they should be improving access for patients, or access to patients.

They weren't too successful at the former – Pulse revealed that just 89 patients out of a possible 30,000 had signed up to its ‘email your GP' pilots – but when it came to the latter, it excelled.

A blunder in August saw 882 letters sent out to patients – with door entry codes and pin numbers for key safe boxes printed on the envelopes.
