NHS Information Centre

England's central source of health and social care information. Its aim is to "revolutionise the use of information to improve decision making, deliver better care and realise increased productivity". They release over 120 official and national statistics every year, from hospital admissions to obesity statistics, from GP earnings to the number of school children who have taken drugs and information on Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) challenge. The website contains links to statistics and data collections, broken down into topics including audits and performance, health and lifestyle, hospital care and primary care, among others. They are based in Leeds.
