First to the Daily Telegraph, who report from the Royal College of Surgeons conference, where we hear that local NHS organisations are unfairly rationing obesity surgery to only the most extreme cases in order to save money.
The Telegraph also picks up on the GMC's warning that patients are not being properly protected from poor foreign doctors, as Pulse reported yesterday.
The BBC, meanwhile, reports that only a third of nurses in London have been vaccinated against swine flu.
A handful of papers, including The Daily Mail, report that multiple sclerosis sufferers could get the first pills to treat the condition as early as next year after promising trial results.
The FT makes a rare foray into the medical arena, bringing us the news that business travellers may soon be able to combat travel fatigue with the first pill specifically aimed at combating jet lag.
