Pulse is changing – but our mission remains the same



Ever since we were founded in 1960, Pulse has been at the heart of general practice, offering the profession the best in news, education, opinion and analysis.

We’re proud to continue that tradition today by supporting GPs in more ways than ever before: in print, online, by email and with events. And next year we’re planning to improve further – doing everything we do currently and more, but adapting to deliver you the right information in the right way at the right time.

The very latest news, and in-depth analysis of what it means for your practice, will be available immediately online, on our newly upgraded website PulseToday.

Thousands of GPs have already signed up for our breaking news and daily email updates, and if you haven’t already registered, doing so will ensure you’re first to know about key developments in general practice.

Our Pulse Learning site will continue to offer an accessible online learning resource, by GPs and for GPs. Along with our seminars and Pulse Live, the new two-day annual conference for general practice, it will provide an easy way to collect CPD credits as you begin to tackle revalidation.

And then from January we’ll be relaunching Pulse magazine in a brand-new monthly format. The new Pulse will be bigger and better – still with all your favourite clinical formats, GP columnists like Copperfield and Peverley and a comprehensive digest of the month’s news, but with more space devoted to in-depth analysis and hard-hitting investigations that really get under the skin of general practice.

Throughout it all, our mission remains the same. As we have for the past 52 years, we will continue to champion and support the profession – and do whatever we can to help you do a difficult job better.
