Pulse LIVE has been crowned ‘business event of the year’ at the Professional Publishers Association awards last night, after judges praised its growth over the past year.

The events held in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow this year won the prize, beating stiff competition from the Festival of Marketing, the Quality Food Awards and the World Architecture Festival.

The free event was praised for its ability to attract GPs from across the country with a lively programme of CPD, workshops, debates and exhibitions. Pulse was also nominated in the Magazine of the Year category.

This is the third award of 2017 for Pulse, with the Pulse news team winning a prize for their journalism and Pulse editor Nigel Praities winning the coveted ‘Editor of the Year’ prize at the Medical Journalism Awards last week.
