The workload in meeting the requirements of the Care Quality Commission would appear to be absolutely massive (‘CQC puts brakes on plans for GP registration', www.pulsetoday.co.uk/news).
When do they expect us to find the time or manpower to do this, on top of all the rest of the growing work?
This all makes me want to retire earlier than previously planned. I wish they would just leave us alone to get on with ‘doctoring' and trying to help our patients (who also get more demanding!).
