Dr Phil Peverley is a GP in Sunderland and one of the profession’s finest writers.
His columns in Pulse are often amusing, but frequently hard-hitting and influential too – a column last year attacking those who argue in favour of assisted dying sparked a lively debate in the profession.
Dr Peverley has scooped numerous awards for his writing in Pulse, most recently last year when he won the silver award for best columnist at the worldwide Trade Association Business Publications International awards.
