There is a delightful parody of AA Milne's classic book Now We Are Six entitled Now We Are Sixty, which many who have attained that milestone will be familiar with, as it naturally makes an enticing sixtieth birthday present.
Having myself reached that august age, I recently received a thick envelope bearing the NHS logo, only to find that the rules of Poohsticks have changed.
It now involves six cardboard sticks and a Haemoccult testing kit.
